Overview

Canon's imageWARE Accounting Manager 5.0 is a document accounting and analysis software package allowing one to efficiently track document output, collect, analyze, and manage output costs, and recover lost revenue from abusive or unaccounted for printing.

imageWARE Accounting Manager 5.0 gives the product wider reach into corporate and professional service environments by adding support for billing codes on Copy/Scan/Fax/Send through a MEAP application.

imageWARE Accounting Manager is the perfect tool for allowing organizations to effectively track document output, manage associated output costs and recovering lost revenue from abusive printing. Designed for simple installation and ease of use, imageWARE Accounting Manager monitors for all document activity on the network.

Billing Code Plug-in: MEAP platform based application allows users to input billing codes for copy/scan/fax/send on MEAP enabled imageRUNNER device.
Billing code support on Virtual Cash Controller (VCC).

imageWARE Accounting Manager ships standard as a server software capable of running on Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, or Windows Server 2003 operating systems. The web-based software allows users to access relevant reporting and configuration operations all through a standard web browser.

imageWARE Accounting Manager 5.0 Components

imageWARE Accounting Manager is comprised of the following software components:

imageWARE Accounting Manager Server: The main software application containing the imageWARE Accounting Manager Server software.
imageWARE Accounting Manager Central Server: The software application used in instances where more than one imageWARE Accounting Manager server is used. The Central Server registers all imageWARE Accounting Manager location servers and performs accounting and analysis for all registered servers from one location.
imageWARE Accounting Manager Client Module: Software application installed on the computers used for printing. Necessary when printing on devices other than imagePlatform devices, restricting output, or when assigning Billing Codes.
Batch User Registration Tool: Software tool included to easily import/export department and user accounts directly from a CSV file.
Billing Code Import Tool: Provides import/export capabilities of billing codes and restricted document names from a CSV file.
Port Conversion Tool: Converts a printer port to the Canon NetSpot LPR port to track print activity for non-iP based copiers.
Print Setting File Creation Tool: Enhances the direct report print feature of imageWARE Accounting Manager and allows for more convenient page formatting.
Billing Code Plug-in: Billing Code Plug-in is a MEAP application that enables a user to enter billing codes from the imageRUNNER LCD.
Security Setting Tool: This tool makes the operation of imageWARE Accounting Manager possible on Windows XP professional SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1 with Windows Firewall enabled.
Virtual Cash Controller: Hardware component that collects copying activities of 3rd-party vendors and non-IP platform devices.
