Wireless-N Internet Home Monitoring Camera
The Wireless-N Internet Home Monitoring Camera is designed to send live video to your home computers, or through the Internet to a web browser anywhere in the world! This compact, self-contained unit lets you keep track of your home, your kids, your workplace -- whatever's important to you.
- Sends high-quality live audio and video to your network wirelessly – viewable from a web browser or smartphone, anywhere in the world
- Built-in video stream encoder and stand-alone web server – no PC necessary
- Security Mode automatically sends email alerts with video clips upon motion detection
- Video can be secure and private, or an open broadcast
Versatile
A Camera That Stands Alone Unlike standard "web cams" that require an attached PC, the Internet Home Monitoring Camera contains its own web server, so it can connect directly to a network, over either Wireless-N or wired Ethernet. High-quality, high-framerate video compression creates a sharp, up to 640x480, video stream. View the real-time video (with audio) on your networked computers at home, on the Web, or on your RTSP-enabled smartphone when you're on the go.
Choose Your Audience You can keep your video stream secure and private within your home network, or share it with friends and family by creating password-protected accounts. Or simply stream your broadcast to the web for the world to see.
Real-Time Security The wireless connectivity and compact design makes for easy placement (mounted on a desk, bookcase, wall, or ceiling), so you can target your exact area of interest. In Security Mode, the camera sends an email with a short video or still frames attached whenever it detects motion in its field of view. You can then log onto the live video stream if the situation warrants.
- Save up to 4 seconds of video before the motion was detected, and up to 5 seconds afterward
- Send the email alert to up to three recipients
- Motion detect video can be sent to an FTP server instead of emailed
- To help avoid false alarms, specify up to three motion detect areas within the camera's view, each with customized motion sensitivity
- Optionally overlay a time and date stamp and a short custom message onto the video
